Small in size (two floors of 20m2 (215ft2) each), but able to accommodate 4 people comfortably, it is perfect for a family stay, as a couple or simply to enjoy a few days away from the city in your own company. Close to Quebec City, this cottage offers the best of both worlds for travelers who enjoy discovering every aspect of a region when they visit it. Located at altitude, from the HELIOS chalet you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains and the Île d'Orléans in the distance. This fully equipped micro-cottage is 100% solar and propane with a safe, highly efficient and environmentally friendly “high-tech” installation! In the heart of nature, it is the ultimate place to enjoy several outdoor activities. It is a huge playground affiliated with the Sentières du Moulin outdoor center. Indeed, winter lovers can do fat biking, downhill skiing, alpine hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on several trails near the chalet (private trail starting behind the chalet's wooden rope) or nearby by car. In summer, it is just as enjoyable to stay for a weekend or a week at the HELIOS chalet! In fact, it's a chance to get out your mountain bike or hiking boots to explore the beautiful trails nearby. Bike & Sleep Experience: Get direct access to a mountain bike/fat bike trail, directly from the chalet. The Sentier du Moulin outdoor center is positioned as one of the most beautiful mountain bike centers in Quebec. With 60 km of “singletrack” trails, they offer XC and all-mountain trails for all levels. Note that the access roads to the mountain are of the “Forest Roads” type, i.e. dirt and stones.
