The Villa of the Fireflies! High-end Scandinavian villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The Villa is ideal for 6 to 8 occupants and can help out up to 10 people (by adding a ground bed on the mezzanine - not provided). It is one of the most beautiful Villas in the Domaine du Grand Portneuf with the forest all around as a decor and a private Spa accessible from the covered patio. The location of the cottage in the cul-de-sac with no visible rear neighbours offers peace and privacy. This Villa is located in the beautiful Portneuf region, 35 minutes from Old Quebec. Possible access to a beach at Lac St-Joseph in summer for stays of 3 nights or more.

The property
On the ground floor, there are 2 beautiful bedrooms with large beds, each with its own full private bathroom. A sofa bed in the living room can help out for children if needed. The kitchen, dining room and living room are open plan and offer an exceptional view of the surrounding forest through an impressive glass wall up to the cathedral ceiling. The Napoleon gas fireplace also offers a zen and relaxing atmosphere. Above the living room fireplace, there is a 55" HD television with the possibility of streaming your favorite shows, the Telus TV package includes current and specialized sports equipment, etc. A washer/dryer area is adjacent to the bedrooms. The Mezzanine with cathedral roof offers a 3rd bedroom with double bed and full private bathroom, a functional work desk with laser printer and HV fiber optic internet (400mb/sec) as well as a reading corner are also part of the decor without forgetting the breathtaking view on the lower floor and the woods in the back. Outside, there is a large covered patio with table and chairs, a relaxation area with a propane fireplace and BBQ that can be used in season as well as several other places to relax on the Villa's large private lot. A private and intimate spa that is easy to access is located at the end of the patio. No neighbors visible from the patio, tranquility assured. Without forgetting of course our beautiful fireflies that will accompany you throughout your stay, besides, will you be able to find them? Travelers have exclusive access to the entire Villa and its grounds. Common areas accessible to other tenants of the Domaine include: hiking trails with picnic tables, the Portneuf River that passes over the land, an inground and heated pool with waterfalls in season, a large communal spa for 15 people, a 4-season sauna, a 4-season sauna as well as a service building that offers living room/fireplace/kitchen/bathrooms as well as a pool table. Service building activities must be booked in advance on site. A play module for children is also available in the common areas near the service building.

The Domaine du Grand Portneuf is an exceptional and very well maintained private site. From the Villa, you can easily walk around the Estate and discover all the services offered free of charge for tenants such as the trails, the Portneuf River, the service building (billiards, spa, sauna). You will be pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the people of Portneuf and by all the activities offered nearby... and there is something for all ages and all tastes. A motorized vehicle will normally be required to discover the region outside the Estate.

Private and exclusive access with parking to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Quebec region at Lac St-Joseph (15 minutes from the Villa) is possible for stays of 3 nights or more. Contact us for more details. Parking also provides easy access to the Jacques-Cartier/Portneuf Vélopiste. There is a code for unlocking the door of the Domaine's service building. We will give it to you before you arrive.
