With a magnificent view of the lake, the charming municipality of Ste-Aurélie welcomes you with summer as well as winter activities. 90 minutes from Quebec. 30 minutes from St-Georges de Beauce, and Lac Etchemin, you have the full choice of nature activities, or nearby restaurants/pubs to make your stay unforgettable memories. The Attractions: At your disposal at the chalet: 2 kayaks and 3 paddle boards, snowshoes in winter. Summer and winter, numerous hiking trails located in the beautiful Chaudière-Appalaches region are available to you. Municipality of Ste-Aurélie: In winter, at the end of the lake, a small snowshoeing ring (2 km) is perfect for children. An indoor skating rink is installed there, as well as an ice ring. In summer it turns into a tennis court, next to a potato trailer: a must! Park with games for children, softball field, camping, and small public beach. Navigable lake ($ ask the municipality). At the end of January, it's the ice fishing festival in Ste-Aurélie, and the lake is decorated with small fishing huts! Snowmobile and ATV trails nearby. In short, numerous activities for all tastes throughout the year! Small grocery store and SAQ less than 3 KM away, and larger grocery store the Inter-Marché and SAQ (quite impressive) is located 15 minutes from the cottage in the village of St-Prosper. Mont Orignal, located 30 minutes from the chalet in the Etchemins region, welcomes you for downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking trails, summer and winter alike, as well as the Lac Etchemin Golf Club. You will also find the Lac Caribou trails and the Haute-EtChemins trails for memorable forest walks. The 7 Falls Park, also located 30 minutes away in St-Georges, is beautiful, and numerous trails run along the river, as well as the St-Georges Golf Club. Perfect for going to dinner one evening in one of the pubs along the Pozer River and its bridges. ***Important for the respect and safety of all: the chalet is equipped with a video camera system at all entrances.
