The most spacious of Zenya Chalets, Chalet Golden Bear is a majestic log cabin located in the prestigious Domaine du Lac Fiddler, at the exit of Morin Heights, in the Saint-Sauveur Valley. The cottage is located on a large private wooded lot, with an area of over 70,000 square feet. Sheltered from neighbours and prying eyes, you will be sure to find tranquility and privacy and to fully enjoy your vacation! Relax in complete serenity by taking advantage of our spa and our outdoor dry sauna (available all year round) and numerous activities nearby. Note that the heated outdoor in-ground pool is open from 1 June to the end of September.
This very spacious cottage has 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 1 indoor wood fireplace. It can easily accommodate up to 16 people. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. Other conveniences such as satellite television, unlimited Starlink high speed Wi-Fi, a pool table, and a washer and dryer are also provided. An outdoor fireplace with comfortable chairs to relax is available during the 3 seasons.
100% private facilities at the Golden Bear Chalet (not shared):

INCLUDED: you now have access to activities at the Domaine du Lac Fiddler Recreation Center, located a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.

- In winter: access to the outdoor skating rink, loan of snowshoes for hiking, slides for children.
- In summer: access to the heated outdoor pool at the Recreational Center (shared), to the dock and to the boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and pedal boats), tennis courts and outdoor games for children.
The Golden Bear Chalet is the perfect location for receptions (weddings, birthdays, etc.) and corporate events. The maximum total capacity is 72 people divided between our 6 cottages (Chalet Golden Bear 16 places + Chalet Silver Fox 12 places + Chalet White Wolf 12 places + Chalet Blue Jay 12 places + Chalet White Rabbit 8 places + Chalet White Rabbit 8 places + Chalet Red Deer 12 places + Chalet Red Deer 12 places, all located 5 minutes away on foot).

Chalet regulations Please take note of the chalet regulations, applicable to all participants: 1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the chalet. However, smoking is allowed outside the cottage (a $1,000 penalty applies in case of non-compliance with this rule); 2. For reasons of safety, respect for the neighborhood and the capacity of septic and sanitary installations, we require that the number of people on the agreement be respected at all times by the tenants. A maximum of 2 additional guests are allowed during the day (excluding the pandemic period), but the number of people who stay to bed must be in accordance with what is indicated on the agreement (strict supervision on site applies); 3. The Domaine du Lac Fiddler is a vacation site where tranquility is required. The use of RVs, mountain bikes, Skidoos, motorcycles and motocross is strictly prohibited. You can bring your motorcycles on a trailer to use them outside the domain (a $500 penalty applies in case of non-compliance with this rule); 4. Fireworks are prohibited at all times on the estate because of the high risks of fire and noise pollution (a $1,000 penalty applies in case of non-compliance with this rule); 5. No outdoor sound system is authorized outside the cottage and/or on the dock (a $500 penalty applies in case of non-compliance with this rule and complaint from the neighborhood); 6. Fiddler Lake is an ecological lake and motorboats are not allowed. To avoid the contamination of blue-green algae from other lakes, any launch of a boat other than those provided is prohibited; 7. Open fires are strictly forbidden. Outdoor fires must be made in the fireplace intended for this purpose (a penalty of $1,000 applies in case of non-compliance with this rule); 8. The installation of tents and/or motorhomes or caravans on the estate is strictly prohibited; 9. We cannot be held responsible for any accident in the cottage, the SPA, the pool, on the ground and at the lake; 10. Any subletting is strictly prohibited; 11. The tranquility of the premises must be respected at all times. No excessive noise outside after 22:00 (including the pool, the SPA and the sauna); Note that in the event of non-compliance with these rules, we reserve the right to withhold the security deposit. By booking directly on our site or on any other partner platform, you are deemed to have read and accepted to comply with these regulations, as well as all the persons accompanying you.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking confirmation can be canceled free of charge.
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of 10% of the total reservation amount as damages.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of the booking deposit (30% of the total reservation amount) as damages.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the arrival date at the cottage will result in the loss of all amounts received so far (100% of the total reservation amount). Only the security deposit for breakage and damage will be refunded to tenants.
