Beautiful lakefront with private sandy beach The Baskatong Sunset cottage is located on the shores of the navigable Baskatong Lake, a veritable 400 km² inland sea that is very well preserved. The breathtaking view of the water, whether on the site, on the glass terrace or from the inside, offers a continuous spectacle. In addition, at the end of the day, we are in the front row to admire the sunset. The chalet CAN ACCOMMODATE up to 11 PEOPLE in great comfort. The main room, open concept, is ideal for enjoying good times with friends or family. The large kitchen can be closed by French doors, the dining room is located on the lake side, allowing you to admire the view while eating in a group. The living room is a very pleasant room with the cathedral ceiling, the lake side wall is entirely fenestrated, the sofas very comfortable and the fireplace. For your entertainment, there is a television with DVD and sound system. Outside, the private beach is directly in front of the house as well as the boat launch. There is also a sauna and an outdoor bonfire area with relaxing chairs. 2 kayaks and a rowing board are included. Within walking distance or a few minutes by car, discover 2,000 kilometers of hiking, snowshoeing, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and mountain biking trails overlooking the wonders of nature. Windigo Falls is only 5 minutes away. Baskatong and Devil's Mountain, the second highest peak in the Laurentians, offer a multitude of exciting activities in vast spaces whose charm and beauty vary with the seasons. Sandy beaches and fishing have made Baskatong Reservoir famous. By sailing there with a motorboat or even with our kayaks, it is possible to dock on mostly sandy banks to have a picnic, swim or enjoy the sun. As the lake is stocked, it is ideal for fishing. Several restaurants and a floating bar are also accessible by boat.
